Cheap and Quick Drawer Liners

Heyyyy all lovely people, hope you all had a wonderful July 4th weekend. We had an amazing time with our visiting friends from east coast. Kiddos and adults alike freaked out totally :)

You have already seen my blue dresser. I wanted the inside also to be as beautiful as outside. Do you think I succeeded?

All that I did was to cut the foam core sheet per size and wrap it with the gift wrap.

Foam core is not glued to the drawers making it easy to remove if I want to change the liner later,

This was a real quick and real cheap project. My older one measured the inside and cut the foam core per size. Younger one helped with the wrapping. I didn't spend any money on this project as I had foam core and gift wrap already. Even if I had to buy, it wouldnt have costed me more than 2-3 bucks.

I love how beautiful dresser looks inside out.

Thank you for stopping by.

  1. I use gift wrappers as liners for drawers but never used with foam boards. You have 2 great helpers for your projects...:-).

  3. That looks great! The drawer liner is just that extra touch. The foam is a great way to go too. Thanks for sharing at the Pretty Preppy Party!

  4. That's beautiful wrapping paper, and a great idea. I've thought of using wrapping paper as a lining, but I was afraid it would rip and bunch up. This would totally solve that. Thanks!
