Diwali Decor

Dear Friends,

Happy Diwali!! May the Devine Light of Diwali Spread into your life Peace, Prosperity, Happiness, Good Health and Wealth!!

Diwali signifies the victory of good over evil. During Deepavali (Diwali), lights illuminate every corner of the house, the light that empowers us to commit ourselves to good deeds.  Weather I m celebrating the festival with friends or family or just us, I love to light up diyas (earthen lamps). Only this year I shifted to tea lights.

Would like to take you thru Diwali decor inruo  Entry Way and Dining room. Sorry for the photo heavy post!!

Entry Way:

This sandal wood Ganesha and the copper bowl adorns my coffee table with the kundan rangoli.

Those carnations are another DIY, will come back with the tutorial after the festivity. They were so easy to make, both kids helped me :)

This beautiful tamil style wooden carved Ganesha was picked up from Poompuhaar Handicrafts. Since tea lights were too close to the carving, I used battery operated tea lights.

My beautiful lamp stand decorated with lamps and crepe flowers.

Dining Room:

Table setting was done using all house hold items
