Blue dresser gets a face lift with orange geometric pattern.

Hiiii, how are u? Past few weekends have been crazy busy with lot of activity. Our abode is going thru few structural changes, there are quite a few unfinished projects in the garage, it's a total mess.I am enjoying the chaos though, can't wait to see how everything ties up later :)

I love how my blue dresser turned out, but felt it was missing something. It needed some punch, So, dear blue dresser gets a face lift with orange geometric pattern.

Here is how it looks now.

Process was pretty simple. Just tape and paint. :)

To get the crisp lines, I sealed the tape with the base color.

Here is a before and after.

Which one do u like? Some times few simple changes makes loads of difference, I love how it turned out.

Thank u for stopping by and take care.

  1. Oh wow! What a difference a pop of color can make. The dresser was already pretty awesome but it's even more terrific with the orange...love it. I'd like to feature this project on my weekend features post next weekend if that's ok by you.

  3. I love it! What a difference comparing to the very 1st pic you shared (Ikea TRYSIL Dresser makeover post)!
I love the pattern and vivid orange.
This dresser would fit perfectly into my living room, but unfortunately there's no TRYSIL Dresser available in IKEA UK :(
